Thanks to Spidey having his own line and getting figures in the main Marvel Universe line, he usually has all of his bases covered when it comes to his various costumes being represented in figure form. I wanted to make a Spidey, but knew I had to find a costume that I don't think we'll see at retail anytime soon, so I chose one of his most different looking outfits and looked to videogames for inspiration. The Last Spider-Man made his post prominent appearance in the videogame "Spider-Man: The Edge of Time". I liked his nontraditional leather jacket and pants look as opposed to a full spandex body suit. I used a GI JOE Rise of Cobra Storm Shadow figure as the base, with a Marvel U Comic 2-Pack Spidey head.

yeah spiderman's clinging ability is caused by him willing the molecules of his body to become rotted to something else. it doesn't matter if there is anything in between as long as he is within about 2 inches. which is why he can cling with any part of his body.

I've been a fan of the design before, but I like it even better with the design this figure has. Excellent job! And guys, about the boots, I don't really think the footwear really matters for Spidey. Noir is crawling just fine in his.

Great job man! Not familiar with this particular variant from the game (I thought it was just 2099 & Amazing that starred in it) but good job nonetheless. As for the boots, how do we know he didn't just like the style of the boots and cut holes in the soles so he could still crawl walls and such? And yes I noticed that I rhymed twice in the previous sentence, but sod it.

Looks great...of course I don't think heavy boots are conducive to wall crawling...
