She-Hulk (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Hello my name is Brilliant Disguise. My husband has been creating custom figures for several years and I have grown to love the customs he has created. I recently decided to give customizing a go myself and with full support and encouragement from him, I was able to make this She-Hulk as a 2nd anniversary gift to him. This is my second custom, I finished the first one but wasn't very satisfied with it so I redid a few things and pictures haven't been taken of it yet. RECIPE: Marvel Legends Hasbro She-Hulk with a WWE female head, using She-Hulk's hair. Legs were from ML Drax and I sculpted the waist, filled in the peg holes, sanded and primed the figure, and painted it using Citadel, Craftsmart and Folkart. Sealed the figure with Mod Podge. PS... if you know who my husband is or may be, please keep it secret for now. I want to be judged on my own merits and not riding his coattails for anything. I am not trying to paint like him, but he is teaching me a lot of his techniques and ways of doing things and I am trying to develop my own style. I don't want you to think it's bad work because it's really pretty great. The new face is really nice and the paintwork is great and the parts go together pretty well, just not perfectly. I don't wanna poo-poo on your custom because it's actually very good and you should be very happy with how this came out.

ole jade jaw - Thank you OJJ! My husband is stylin so much sometimes I think he's the "Nature Boy" and I'm trying to develop my own and let some of his rub off on me, I'm gonna keep em coming, just at a slower pace than most of you customizers. I hope that doesn't make Hulk angry

But, I feel I must give some constructive criticism with all the praise...the legs. I know it is very hard to find legs with pants/jeans and not skintight spandex for ML, and you don't have many options be it male or female. But, the legs look very short and squat. The upper body is longer than the legs, and her arms look to be as long as the legs. I know most people on here don't ever really criticize customs, and I am NOT doing this to be a jerk. It's just an honest comment, in a spirit of friendship and betterment. I just think it could take this custom from amazing to perfect.
