I was inspired to do a Huntress custom after seeing that Mattel would at long last do an official version as part of their Club Infinite Earths subscription line next year, and also from seeing ACCustomFigure's TDKR-styled version of the character. That, and a sneak peek at how the Huntress (as played by Jessica de Gouw) will look like when she appears on the "Arrow" TV show.

I decided to go with an Arkham games-styled Huntress instead of the more revealing version of the outfit, and used a black and white Mattel AC Catwoman that I bought loose as the base. I ripped off the collar and filled in the resulting gap with epoxy putty. The head comes from a DCUC Big Barda figure, which I had to modify to fit properly on the larger neck peg of the Catwoman figure (with the tiara bit dremelled down), and the cape is from an Identity Crisis Zatanna figure. I sculpted the cross emblem on her chest, her mask and her belts; the belt pouches came from a Hush figure from the Hush line and the thigh pouches from a Martha Washington figure. The crossbow is from a JLU Huntress figure; it was too big for that figure but just right for this one. Painted it all up (it's really difficult getting paint onto those capes!) and, hopefully, we're good to go! Not really happy with how the mask turned out, but other than that I think it's not a bad look for the character.

UPDATE: Painted in the eye holes a little so they're closer in to her eyes, per a suggestion from NeCrollector.

2nd Update with a brighter shade of purple

Thanks for looking!

Looks nice. Might I suggest making the bottom of the mask run closer to her eyes, as in repainting the bottom portion of her mask a bit higher on her face?....just a suggestion, though.

Hi there, thanks for the comment and suggestion! It absolutely makes sense, to close up the eye opening a little more...the mask was sculpted on, so I would have to paint within the mask area...something I could try!

Thanks. I used Tamiya paints, I think it looks glossy because I used sealant on it since the paint on the cape was always flaking off...not very effective though.
