I had previously used this Nightwing figure to create DC's "The Ray" figure...but hadn't been pleased with it. So I popped the head off & glued my unused Unmasked JSA Starman head on. I also removed the hands & used Norman McKays hands that came with a Spectre figure, also glued & molded longer hair. Then a major repaint!
Kaptain Midnite is one of my Friends creations...that was my character Darkfire's partner. They went on to create there on "Hero" group Ultimate Heroes Incorporated! (this was before any "Ultimates" comics existed)
His powers are Super Strong & some invulnerability along with a high degree of Darkforce Manipulation, with a minor generation of the same Black energy. (fortunately...Darkfire produced more Darkforce energy than he could control. Worked out pretty good!!)
The sphere in his hand produced his armored outfit, along with scanning & laser beams as well as it could fly & had it;s own computer intelligence.
