After two months of work, Henry Cavill 2.0 is completed. Used a ML Constrictor as a base so the joints have absolutely NO rub as they are the exact same color as the paints I used for the suit! I basically sculpted the entire surface of the suit and textured it with my ball stylus. Everything has texture, even the gold parts of the belt and even the belt buckle itself. The head was a third attempt to sculpt one from scratch. Cavill has a difficult likeness to capture, but this is pretty close in my opinion. The photos' filter is made to look like the footage from Comic Con. With no touch ups, the suit color is navy, the reds are normal bright, and the "yellow" parts are gold. On the cape, I went with a cloth one but sculpted the area where the cape attaches to the shoulders. It's something I've seen GeekSummit do with good results and to be more accurate. He's completely articulated and the sculpt was done in a way that doesn't restrict movement at all. He has roughly 31 POA. It's probably the best figure I've ever done while still retaining all the original articulation! Thanks for looking and comments are welcome! And yes, he will be on eBay, very soon, as late as this afternoon :) *** EDIT: I added a non-filtered pic so you can see the true colors ![]() |
