I needed a break from making customs with loin cloths and furry boots. I have been wanting to make a super spy type custom for a while now. Found a Classics Air-strike Wolvie body in the fodder box. So I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I will make a spy custom and use up a fodder piece. This custom was based off an episode of the old animated series X-men called Weapon X lies and videotape. In the episode Wolverine has a flashback memory of himself as a spy and he was wearing this really cool black and yellow outfit. So I patterned my custom after the look of that outfit but I tweaked it a little bit. At first I was going to do away with the yellow altogether but I decided it would change the look completely so I just dialed down the yellow. That bright yellow color would not work for a infiltration spy outfit so I made it look like the yellow parts was beige leather type material. Also in the episode Wolvie along with Maverick,Sabertooth, and Silver Fox was stealing a C-Synth canister so I made one that he can attach to his backpack. I also scratch built his wrist computer to complete the spy look. This was fun to make and I hope you guys dig it. As always thanks for viewing and God Bless!!! I agree with your choice of yellow...it's just right.
All in all, an awesome, refreshing take on Wolverine...beautifully painted. I love the attention to details, such as the canister that fits on his back. Brilliant!
