Tis the season to be scary. This figure(s) have been my in-between project, project. Usually do a little bit while other figures I am working are drying or curing.
Ever since I saw the Two Pack Hulk head I have been tinkering in the background in creating a Hulk-like Frankenstein. Also you may not be aware I am planning on being a Mad Scientist for Halloween and made my own set of steam-punk goggles that light up. So I figure I needed a MAD creation to go with the theme of Madness.
Obviously lots of fodder was used in both figures.
Hulkenstein has a professor hulk arm, hulk-buster Ironman hand, maestro left hand, modified head, modified feet. Sculpted armor on one and a deep sea diver boot on the other. used a MOTU Snout Spout backpack and lot of cogs and gears from Michael's. The hoses and wires come from a Star Trek Borg figure. So many of the Frankenstein pics I see are either greyish or green, so I settled on a patchwork scheme.
To finish him off I found some kick butt lightening at Goodwill. Thought it really added the chaotic effect of the whole thing.
Dr. Banner was a Spawn Twitch figure from the 90's. wanted something to contrast with the massive creature he created. I had pictured him a bit more human but as I added some articulation and accessories, I decided that the ole Doctor experiments on himself as well as his monster.
