well 80's style is the theme, here he is, rocksteady's right hand man a blast from the past lol. this guy was fun, a little work, but fun to paint and use new colors. he is a maestro that was broken, so i put him back together and lost the chest articulation, but he's still nice to look at. again, this isnt par with "ANTHONYS CUSTOMS" but i didnt have everything i need and we agreed on a price that reflected the missing elements. sculpted his vest and added some lines/ details/ buttons/ holes etc.. used the classic 80's head and was stumpted on how to use it since it was rubber, and hollow inside. so.. i chopped the maestro hulks head up in pieces untill it looked like a cork and then slid it in and it worked. it was either that, or fill it with sculpt and make it even heavier then he already was gonna be. but this way i didnt have to make a new head hole etc/think. sculpted the shoe laces and sanded the crap outa this guy. went to walmart and found some chains for a few bucks and cut them, attatched them together with a chain link an he was done. no matter how much i sanded the arms would rub a little on his grainy skin by the shoulders, so i have been thinking about using the super glue with the brush feature for a while and decided to buy it. painted AGAIN. used the super glue brush on the parts that possibly could rub and did, and it worked. however if you try it, do it before you seal because the super glue is fairly glossy and turns matte after seal. its cool tho, every custom u learn something new and grow. i know i dont have the skull on the neclace, nor do i have the turtle shells on the shoulders. but hey, go find some to use as fodder because my time is just as valuable and wasnt going to sculpt them for what we agreed on and the customer didnt mind not having them. all in all i like this guy. hope u 80's fans do to =)
