i love Max Payne series since the first game, and since i love almost every game made from rockstar i was sure that their work on the game and character would be as good as the other two titles (by remedy) i don't know why but i really liked the "police max" (that's the name of the suit in game!) suit, probably because i think that it's a mix between formal and informal since he has a clean suit but blood splattered all over because of the injury on his head and i love the police station chapter.

OK I've seen that many realmers write the recipe like this and i think it's comfy while reading, so here it goes:

Head - the original Hartigan head, got his hair and mouth dremeled, made his mouth, beard and the big injury on the left side with epoxy the other two small injuries where made with heat.

Body - Hartigan's body minus trench coat with sculpted gun holsters and gun holders made from leather

Arms - Now this was a PAIN in the ass, i wanted arms with articulation on the elbows and what i did here was: i took the shoulders from NECA'S Hartigan and the elbows and wrists from the Long arms (like 6 inches) of NECA'S Freddy, since i can't afford to buy a lot of figures i had to use those arms since they where just and accessory to that figure... i miss them :(
But it was worth it, when those three parts where assembled i dremeled everything and sculpted the arms completely that's a big improvement if you look to my "escape from arkham" joker's pants (lol). Thanks to those Freddy wrists now the hands have ball joints instead of the swivel joints they used to have.

Base - i made a base with wood (as is usually do) which was painted black then a couple of grays some shadow to make oil, then added some pieces of a CD case to make broken glass and added some bullet shells on the ground from a bullet belt from McFarlane's Revolver Ocelot and lastly i painted Max's name on it.


Paint - everything with acrylics and the blood with dye/acrylics then added gloss varnish on the head injury, shoes and the oil on the floor, painted the shotgun which was just black plastic, kept Hartigan's magnum and added two reservoir dogs guns.
