Maxine Hunkel was the granddaughter of the original Red Tornado, "Ma" Hunkel. I say 'was' because sadly it doesn't seem like she exists anymore in the new52. Maybe she'll show up after Stargirl. She was a member of the JSA and JSA All-Stars just before the new52 relaunch.

Anyway, she was one of the few newer characters I actually enjoyed, but the DC Direct version couldn't raise its arms due to the draping of her top (kind of ruins the action abilities of a character whose power is the ability to manipulate winds to fly!). So I'd been meaning to make her for a while for my JSA collection, just needed to decide how to work her top, and what head combo to use.

So, she isn't 100% accurate, as I decided to forgo the draping of her blouse over her arms so that she could still raise her arms. But I'd rather have her be able to pose, than be more like a statue like the DCD version is.

Anyway, Max is made from the body of a Batman Legacy SA Catwoman, with sneakers from a Young Justice Artemis figure. Her head is a combination of DCUC Donna Troy and Marvel Legends two-pack Black Widow hair.
