Base Figure:Black Lantern Wonder Woman

I bought a Black Lantern Wonder Woman on discount a little over a year ago while on vacation in the States. I really like the design of the outfit, with the skirt element, and it felt slightly less ridiculous than the more familiar looks for the character. However, she was a Black Lantern; complete with pale zombie skin, blank eyes and Black Lantern insignia. I was intimidated by the prospect of converting this to a more normal-looking Wonder Woman, but after some practice and getting better paints, summoned up the courage. This was mainly an exercise in painting for me, bit I had to dremel down the Black Lantern insignia on her tiara and modify the top of her bustier. The star on her tiara was cut from card (it's not as clean I would've liked), the golden lasso is from another DC Direct Wonder Woman and the sword is from the Flashpoint Wonder Woman. The figure's not perfect, but I think I'm getting at least a little better, and will keep at it!

Nice conversion. I always approve of Wonder Woman with a battleskirt.

Thanks Al! So do I; I love this take on the costume and thought that I might be able to convert her into a more regular Wondy.

Thanks! Yeah, I saw the design and went "pity it's in a black Lantern deco. Maybe I can try to change that" and I did - glad the result was okay!

Works well. The white piping is a great touch. Makes it look more military-uniformy.

Thanks for your comment! The white piping was in the original figure, I just tried to preserve it and realise it worked just as well with the new colours.
