OBI WAN KENOBI former padawan to Yoda & Qui Gon Jinn was a Knight of the Old Republic and fought in the Clone Wars. He was forced into exile when his former apprentice Anakin Skywalker and Darth Sidious took over the Senate and formed the Galactic Empire and emerged when he was sought out by R2-D2 holding a distress message from Princess Leia. Wielding a blue lightsaber and trained as a master of lightsaber combat and the Jedi Arts, he was one of the last council members of the Jedi Order before the fall of the Republic and the Great JEDI PURGE and the rise of the Galactic Empire. He severely wounded Anakin Skywalker at the lava pits of Mustafa and secretly hid his twin offspring. He sadly fell at the hands of Darth Vader his former pupil on the Death Star to allow for and help Luke Skywalker to fullfill his destiny in bringing balance to the force.
