I'm pretty sure i saw someone use this recipe already(as far as duke body) But i really think its perfect for movie Bane. I know this figure isn't completely movie accurate either but i wanted to give it a little of a twist. Anyways Duke Nukem body, winter soldier chest plate, added some fodder straps and gave him a repaint. thanks for looking. D2

Im preety sure I was able to get the ball joint from Banes head out by using bioling water and plyers. If that doestnt work drill the ball out. You canalso cut the ball joint off of Duke and then drill a screw into the neck. then put a magnet in banes head. There are all different was to approach it. Try looking at some tutorial on figure realm or youtube. hope this helps.

Really nice job.

Banner/HULK's version inspired my own Bane movie style custom with his great choice of the Duke Nukem body base. It's not entirely movie accurate but it echoes the movie and has enough of the comic book Bane's physical presence to make it such a good choice if your goal is not movie accuracy. Also..I'm not displaying it with my Movie Masters TDKR figures, I'm displaying it with my Arkham City figures so the scale works too.
I really like your choice of the Winter Soldier breast armor here. Nice touch.
I've actually added the bottom half of a SOTA Riddick figure to my version of this Bane (yes I "killed the Riddick" because I just didn't like the "Biker" style pants and boots of the Duke Nukem figure. I wanted to echo the para-military vibe of the movie Bane. I'm tweaking it to fit right now (using the belt from the Movie Masters Bane to cover any differences and when I'm satisfied with it I'll post some pics here at http://www.figurerealm.com.

Again, great job.

Thanks for mentioning mine, but D2's Bane here just looks so big and bada$$ in black with all the weapons too. And Avengerkiller I can't believe you killed a rare Riddick to give rise to a Bane, hope to see it soon.

It's ok Banner, it was actually a spare Riddick I had because like you, I wouldn't have sacrificed such a good figure when it's so rare. I love the SOTA Riddick figures, the scuplts are amazing and really good movie likenesses. I'll try to get some pics on the realm soon. Cheers.

I totally agree the Duke makes a good movie Bane body just a lot taller. I made one too. Really like yours, especially the added vest and belt.

I like movie-Bane customs that give him a bit more bulk, like if he were in a comic book - still realistic to a degree, but physically more imposing and frightening than in the movie or in 'real life'. Very, very well done here, and nicely-taken photographs too.
