The project was to create a line of variant customs from the Fewture Devilman series, using the main characters. So long as they kept in continuity with the original figures, free reins.
Satan is shown here bronco riding one of his fave beasties. Took a McFarlane Mr. Obersmith figure and twisted his torso upside down (yeah, that sounds just as bad in Japanese)cut the top portion of the head and attached the upper torso of the Ryo figure. Ryo is Satan in his non-transformed persona. Wings from a ArtFX Gabriel figure were heavy and needed to be sculpted to the back.
In one of the episodes, Satan was in need of a ferocious beast to ride, something so mad with contempt that it defied command. Additional Spawn (3) worms from a Raenis fig. have been drilled into its ribcage. They're re-painted bendies and add to its monstrosity. In order to ride this demon, Satan conquered its weakest spot - its mind - and literally over took it. Saw some demon in a hardcore anime cartoon with a piece of metal sticking out its eye - decided to add that feature to this!
This version has been renamed "the Unholy" variant, taking spoonfuls from all that is unholy.
