ah...sincerely there's no limit to how many hulks i can have, specially the adorable hulkalo @_@ for the recipe, let's play a game of spot the differences! you guys tell me what you notice I have changed on the figure and i reply about them, yey! :) the more specific you are, the more pretend points you make! points for everyone cause no one mentioned the legs :) the legs are already perfect WRONG! Try to pose your walmart hulk looking down like the last picture...not quite huh? 1)enhanced extension on ankle joint the head is a given right? but i kept till you noticed cause i wanted to talk about it later 2)sculpted head - i wanted to give him what i consider his "neutral" expression in the movie. It's kinda angry, but not furious, if you look up-down he looks angrier, if you look from down-up he's got that dazed, almost child-like innocence look (althought looking at my pics now, i guess i didn't put one really good to show this XD) oh, and i forgot before, i cut his head to give him wider range of movement, hulk doesn't need some neck on his head sculpt, he needs to be able to look up higher :) 3)did you, hasbro walmart avengers hulk owner, notice the double joint on hulks elbows don't work as they're supposed to? the top one is rather useless with his biceps and only moves one click, so i compensated that one click and extended his articulation and killed that joint with sculpt (again, stupid me, no pic here shows the full extent of the elbow joint XD) 4)all peg holes filled 5)this figure is already very awesome cause they got the mass right, usually they don't. but this has got all the roundness he's supposed to look massive. the muscles sculpt don't reflect that too well though, so I worked on his silhouette beefing his shoulders 6)sculpting over his chest, and "turtle shell" neck and back muscles for better shape and cutting the shoulder muscles into the chest, works for a better presentation of bulkiness and also movement imho(like face-off hulk). also the armpits, you gotta give big guys a place they can rest their massive arms close to the body 7) i put the belly separate cause i had to sculpt over and inside the chest to get that chubby yet muscled belly working - call me whatever you like, when i left the movie i was all impressed by that XD so i resculpted the top of the pants too, but just a bit, just to complete the curve i made on the stomach and also made the cut on the chest less straight and following the muscle lines a bit more. well, at this point i think that's it, but if you compare you can always find stuff i just didn't explain well, for that i'll change a pic to a wip , so you guys can see better ta-da! hope you guys like our little game and of course the figure itself, it was a lot of fun work and i can't wait for my next Hulkalo. which size will that be? PS: Dear Hasbro, please release Iron Man Mark VII already, or I WILL make one myself. Best Regards --Hugo Dourado ![]() |

Love it, looks like he walked right out of the screen! incredible!
thanks!
The sculpt worked out great. I was really looking forward to how you were going to paint it, and you really did a great job with the tones, and the work you did on the hairy chest! Great stuff!!!!
I was wondering if no one would notice that!
Oh...and that last pic is CLASSIC!
*Thank you, my friend. Your kind words are verily appreciated and bring warmth to my heart.
