"Neo Tokyo, California is a city built so high that none of its residents have ever seen the ground. It is a place where citizens cosmetically alter their bodies to look like Japanese anime characters. It is a place where ninja battles determine the fate of corporate business ventures. It is the home of Basu, a 700 pound killing machine who uses his grotesque excess weight as a deadly weapon. In this city, there is no ninja more deadly than Basu. He's well-trained, well-armed, and well-fed. And if you work for one of his competitors, he's coming to kill you."
Another character from the Bizarro mind of Carlton Mellick III, Basu, the morbidly obese ninja from the book "The Morbidly Obese Ninja." Basu is a 700 pound ninja, once a regular sized man, he was poisoned by a rival and has to consume a ridiculous amount of calories per day to prevent the poison from killing him.
I loved this book, and when I saw Yokozuna on the shelf the other day, I knew I had to make a Basu figure. It's a Yokozuna base, the head cut up and stuck into a Skeletor hood, forearms cut off and replaced by ML Punisher gloves, filled peg holes and belly button, and used the flip flops from one of my daughter's Monster High dolls (don't tell her!). For the base I added some snacks from Gremlins figures.

Please wait...
A grotesquely gorgeous beauty of a custom! Love how you carved away at the head and made it fit in a Skeletor hood.
How did you make or where did you get that cool-looking translucent sword?
