Juggernaut (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #: | 41109 | Name: | Juggernaut | Custom Type: | Action Figure | Toy Series: | Marvel Legends | Creator: | GrownNerd | Date Added: | July 22, 2012 | Base Figure: | ML6 Juggernaut, Marvel Select Avengers Hulk | Height: | 8.75 inches |
I mashed together an ML6 Juggy with a Marvel Select Avengers Hulk. This guy has got pretty good joint ranges for his size. His helmet is removable due to transferring Juggy's head, traps, and helmet harness over to the MS Av. Hulk. I thought about transferring just the helmet harness thing and the head and keeping the Hulk's neck/traps intact, but the harness wouldn't have fit right and the head would sit too tall for the helmet to be put on. It was easier to cut out and inset everything involved in the Jugs helmet/head assembly than it would have been to try to modify the Hulk's parts for the harness to fit correctly. Please wait... |

Huh. I updated the photos with ones where I fixed the skinny ankle/foot junctions but the photos aren't showing up while the new http://www.ebay.com link does show up. Weird. Anyway, they're subtle differences so maybe it's not important, though I do wish the new photos would show up since whatever shows up are for posterity as well. I did post Before/After shots of the ankle fix at my Fwoosh gallery if anyone is curious about the difference.
Thanks for welcoming me. And thanks for the info on the updates. I see the updated photos now. Man, I can be such a newb about internet things sometimes...or actually, most of the time.
Well, after some comments at the Fwoosh pointing out the skinny ankle connections, I decided to take down the http://www.ebay.com listing he was on and I'm going to go in and try to fix those ankle/foot spots. I'll put up revised photos and relist when I'm done.
I have to wonder if you're going with a replacement or a rebuild like phin mentioned at the fwoosh. I'm quite interested in what you're going to do with it!
Also thanks for the heads up on the nails of my hulk. I tried doing a light wash to mimic what my nails do, but I'm now thinking it's not enough to make a difference. I have an idea of something I did before using a coloured gloss finish, that also mimic the nails natural shine. I'm going to try that and throw some photos up at the fwoosh.
