nice work. some advice...if I may... try thinning your flesh colored paints with some windex or water, and use several thin coats, especialy on the joints. The super glue technique and sanding tutorial really helped me cut down on paint rub... Paint rub can be a biatch... great Hawkey, looks better than the wally world Shia lebeouf Avengers fig!!

thanks. those are good tips ill have to try out. never heard of thinning with windex before. I think what your referring to as paint rub is actually me prepping the joints. I have been using a dental burr to carve out the insides of the elbows and knees and if I'm not super careful itll gnarl up the edges. I try to clean most of it off with a razor blade after but somes hard to notice until its painted. I need to find another bit besides that round dental burr to sand down those joints.

An easy way to. Get rid of your dremel shavings is to use an emory board (chicks's nail file) or sand with super fine sand paper. Both cheap and produce good results...keep up the good work man!

thanks. I think I need to move the prep process up in the progression, I always do that last when I can't wait to get started painting and I miss some of those little gnarled edges. ill give the emory board thing a shot. I'm working on a raoul bushman right now that ill try it on.

While I am still not a big fan of the new look for Hawkeye, you did an excellent job of capturing his new look.
Well done!

Thanks, I prefer the classic suit too. I'm not a huge fan of this look yet either, but I am a big fan of the character and the parts all came together.... Keep an eye out cause I'm starting a classic one soon too.
