A figure I always wanted to see in an assortment of Marvel Legends... Morbius, The Living Vampire, in his original costume! Morbius was a lot of fun to work on. The head sculpt is a reworked version of the Morbius that was part of the 1990s Spider-man cartoon series toyline. It required resizing and retooling quite a bit to get it to fit on a Legends scale figure, but the result was worth it to me. Most of the body is a Marvel legends Series 14 Falcon, with Mister Fantastic legs.

That's a great piece. Love the head on it. the collar and the 'wings" look great. What's the deal with this wings? Are they attached to the arms and move when the arms move? Attached to the back and can be folded up some?

Thanks, StrangePlanet . Yes, the wings are attached to the arms and also the sides of the torso and move when the arms move. I tried to copy the engineering done for the Marvel Legends Banshee and glue a nub of the soft plastic I cut the wings from into a peg hole I Dremeled into his elbows. I think the original Morbius costume was sometimes drawn with the wings ending at the sides of the costume, and sometimes draping over the entire back, and I just decided to go with the ending at the sides version. It took a lot of fidgeting to get the wings to set in place in both the slots I bored out on the sides of the torso and the elbow holes. It's a project where it looks great to me in hand, but I also look at it and think it could be improved upon. But, happily, I got close enough to be satisfied with it lol.

The hair is a combination of Marvel Legends Simon Garth Zombie and Art Asylum Dark Angel. Can't remember if I described that earlier.
