Hey gang, here's a fun little custom using my favorite HA Scout: Whirl!

Whirl was begging to be made more G1, so I went to town.

Whirl sports an LED eye, fitted into a new head. The head was from an IM2 3.75 Armored Drone. It perfectly captures his G1 likeness.

I ditched the HA cockpit and gave him a more properly scaled cockpit as well as G1 inspired claw hands (which serve as a tail fin in altmode).

Added the rocket pod and machine gun from Darkmount to serve as the nose cannon and leg mounted Paralyzo box.

I prefer the two rotor look and you can use the extra blades as....well, blades! Dual wielding FTW!

You can easily swap between two or four rotor configurations.

Finished in enamels and acrylics from Testors Model Masters line, sealed in Future floor polish.

Went for a blocky, solid looking paint scheme to better represent G1 and to fit in with the Classics line. Very subtle highlighting on the edges were done to add some visual interest though. Couple of retro style Autobot logos finish him up nicely.
