This was an exercise in experimenting with auto-body paints on a figure. A good buddy sold them from a going-out-of-business auto-body shop and one of the colors in the set had a unique ability to reflect a different color at different angles of viewing. For example, it might look purple & turquoise on one side, and change to a blue/black on the other. It was able to produce a very mercurial & metallic effect, like the disco-lights at some tweaked out club. The paint also had a bio-mechanical oil feel and was very appropriate for getting an aquatic look to the subject. The big botch was during paint apps, the brushing got over happy and covered the joint areas. Once dried it became a semi-statue, restricting movement. Not the best medium to work with on a plastic figure, but definitely had its fun. Recommend more for highlighting than actual full-use. Proper mask filter & sufficient ventilation suggested during use.
