I fell in love with Agent Brand when she was introduced in Astonishing X-Men around the same time I got back into comic books a few years ago. I love the idea of SWORD, the organization that monitors aliens that visit Earth. Plus Agent Brand is the Beast's girlfriend, so you know she's up for anything.

I wanted Agent Brand to retain her articulation without much paint rub, so I chose Hope as the base, rather than using the 2pack Elektra. I was happy to finally use the Trinity head. Brand rarely removes her glasses, so it was a good fit. I glued on the bangs and resculpted the hair. The ponytail was chopped down and resculpted as well. I added the piping to her outfit using fishing line. The shoulder pads are attached using pieces of a rubber band so that they can move up and down and don't restrict arm movement.

I painted everything green using multiple shades and paint brands. I wanted to match the original shininess of Hope, so the body was painted with Tamiya, while the rest is painted with a matte green and given a light green dry brush. The glasses look a little oddly painted in the photos, but that's just a weird reflection from the camera flash.

The idea for using Gambit's lower legs came from Argenta2008, who made the only other Agent Abigrail Brand custom I've ever seen.
