Hello I have been wanting to do this for a long time, but I havn´t found the right base figure..till I saw captain cold. Thought he would be perfect for movie DD uniform. Problem is, he was shorter than I expected. Seems the 6 inches height is very variable...well, you can´t have it all, I guess. But the main thing I wanted fo my DD movie figure, I did get. Articulation. And I am satisfied with that. I used cap cold body, DD head and holster and longshot collar. I was going to sculpt a closed collar but in the end I went for the open collar look. I dremmelled cap´s fur on gloves and boots, sculpted uniform and boot details and painted. I know, sculpting is not my strong point, and it may look stonehenghish...also, this particular figure gave me a lot of trouble with paints. I dremelled, sanded and superglued joints to prevent paint rub, but, paint didn´t seem to adhere well, and took a lot of time.. hope you like it and comment on it. PD. I didn´tlike the movie, just the aestethic of the uniform!! ![]() |

It's way cool-looking.
And don't sell your sculpting short. No, it's not quite at the level of some guys, but it's not bad either. You did a pretty decent job with costume details.
