Amen, brother
And I've got all of the ingredients you listed in your recipe to make my own - with Deadeyes own riff on things
All I'm going to improve on from your one is multiple finger articulation and a batglider cape using umbrella fabric
You got me fired up man - thanks for the inspiration
When my freaky a$$ joker debuts soon - hopefully you'll feel similarly inspired
awesome work, my man

Thanks guys. I wish I could say I sculpted the chest piece but it was actually from the 5" quick change batman figure. Since it was rubbery & thin, it stretched to fit and lay really well over the Ninja wolvie chest. I saw that the lines on the armor from wolvie were similar enough that they worked together so I did it. It was a figure I started a while back but didn't get time to finish until now.
As for the articulation discussion, I know the arguments for and against articulation but I'm an articulation junkie. To me, if something is called an "Action figure" it should be capable of some action. Anything else is a figurine or statue. I know there are fans of both and I've seen some really gorgeous "In-Action Figures" but I'm just not as attracted to them as the articulated ones and one of the fun things about doing customs of super-articulated figures is maintaining or adding to the articulation or finding ways to improve upon it. That's half the fun for me. It'd be MUCH easier to customize if I could find a pose, glue everything in place and start sculpting but not nearly as much fun.
Thanks for all the comments and feel free to give any criticisms too, every bit helps.
