Here we have Richard Deckard from Blade Runner. I have seen this figure done a few times but that has never stopped anyone from trying it themselves… Christopher Reeve Superman anyone?… Anyway, he is made from a surplus Indiana Jones figure with hair and shirt altered and a jacket from an ultimate soldier figure. I had planned to use this format for a Toht figure but I tried it once and wasn't crazy about the results but THIS seems much more worth the effort. The shirt is colored with 3 different shades of sharpie. Upper part is pinstriped with fine point. I also made packaging for this figure since I had seen that done as well BUT I wanted to take a few liberties with the traditional Star Wars adaptation. Since it wasn't really a Lucas film movie but WAS an 80's sci-fi movie I took a few turns to make this its own design. I used the Ennis House Frank Lloyd Wright bricks as the background image and also the promotional image of Ford's likeness peering in from the right and worked the rest in with a Star Wars/Rusty influence. Hopefully my browser will let me post all 3 pictures tonight (WTF?). The back features the same elements and also a short VERY short synopsis written by myself… I hope it reads well for folks who have seen the movie over and over again. The package as always is on a resell able bubble so the figure can be examined and replaced infinite times with no damage to the package. Thanks for looking!!! ![]() |
