Beta Ray Bill. The first and best of the Thor clones, created by the master, Walt Simonson. I’m generally against alt versions of heroes because it waters down the original but BRB is the exception because his intro and back story are handled so well. If I were the king of comics, I’d create a character who traveled throughout the universe/alt realities/timelines to reap all the “false” hammers and their owners, leaving only Bill and Thor (I’m looking at you Thunderstrike, Dargo, and Thor Girl). Bill is a ML Piledriver with head, belt emblem and Storm Breaker (his hammer) from the old Legends BRB. The helmet wings are from a HML King Thor, chest discs from MS modern Thor and trimmed cape from a Elder Predator figure. Everything else is sculpted or rendered from craft foam coated with polyurethane. Please wait... |

But this is just so imposing and so badass I kinda wanna go in and try something with mine. And I love Beta Ray Bill, for much the sdame reasons you do I think. Great use of the craft foam and the paintwork is stellar. Great custom!
Best BRB custom I've seen!
What a great figure to fit in with the bigger Thor that just came out.
Impressive!
regardless, that looks absolutely amazing in every way. you even have some the same detail choices I wanted to go with. the fur cape from Lord Thor looks pretty good on that body too btw and the hammer from the old 90s version of Bill looks even more impressive. excellent work on the detail throughout though and the color palatte really makes him pop.
Yeah, I just can't take a small Bill comapared to all of these giant Thors that they're always making.
That's just lovely!
