Our local Toycon Customizing action figure is coming up this June 2012.As a requirement, we are only allowed to make not bigger the 5 by 5 base . A diorama will definitely complement the character.

So more often we are compelled to make an "Ikebana" type of base/diorama.In such a way that you can build them upwards and not sideways..

Initially I prepared a inch high lower base then lay out the 3 male Action Figure (As dead Barbarians). Then Sprayed them underneath with Spray foam. And when its hardened,painted them with various paint colors to look like Pile of Rocks Underneath the dead barbariand.I painted tem with Similar Flesh tones and some wounds and blood..You can actually tell how they where killed by Red Sonja..

RED SONJA: Head is Mrs. Drago, Body is from WWF Lady Wrestler, Accessories where from fancy jewelry pearls and stones.

DEAD BARBARIANS:Marvel BISHOP MACFARLAINE CONAN & LORD COVENANT(bought them very cheap in a toy sale since the where stripped with armors)

BASE: Dental Cement(About inch Thick and elevated)., Spray Foam Accessorized with scattterred Arnors, shields, swords and variuos weapons used by the dead barbarians.
