Hmm..this one was an experiment that didnt go as well as hoped. Im trying to make customs of all of the Spidey costumes that arent available as 6" figures and I thought id give this guy a go. I was originally just going to paint webbing onto a black spidey, but the very idea was massively intimidating, so I thought id repaint a movie spider-mans webbing. So I dremelled most of the detail from his torso, lower arms and a little on his shoulders leaving just what I needed for the Miles Morales design. I then just sculpted over the dremelled parts (very badly I might add- no abs definion here!), switched out the legs, waist and upper arms for Mr Fantastics, painted it all black and then just lightly dry brushed the webbing with red. Getting his lower torso to match up with mr fantastics waist was a nightmare. A lot of dremelling, glue, milliput and swearing went into getting those legs to stay on! So a lot of effort went into him, but not that you can tell! Oh well- I guess hes what youd call a learner figure. ![]() |
