The Legion of Super-Heroes is far and away my favorite comic of all time. I have followed their adventures for longer than I can remember, and I was super stoked when DC Direct announced they were going to produce figures based on my beloved LosH. While many members of the Legion did see the action figure treatment, sadly Luornu did not. I couldn't live without Triplicate Girl taking her rightful place on my shelf next to the rest of her fellow Legionnaires. This is the original version of Triplicate Girl from the team's earliest adventures (my favorite incarnation too) and being so, she has a very retro vibe to her.

Luornu started off as a DCD Lois Lane figure.
I shortened the cape and made her trademark slits in her skirt.
She was completely repainted using Tamiya Acrylics and Testors Model Masters Acryl paints.

Triplicate Girl has the power to split into three sentient versions of herself (although one of them eventually gets killed and she adopts the name Duo Damsel...) and I considered creating two more figures to replicate this power. For now though, she will proudly fight along side the rest of my silver-age Legion figures against a universe of bad guys in the 31st century!
