Attached a McFarlane Al Simmons figure for the cyborg parts. Used a toybiz Colossus head for half of the face. In a time before apoxie sculpt, most custom figures were held together by a wing and a prayer - like this one. Nowadays, can't work without this medium! It's a versatile tool, non-toxic, and dries hard like a meteorite. Now if only they'd come out with a clear resin that works in the same, easy way - to make those cool transparent effects!
It's amazing to see how far the art of customizing figures has come - and there's a special pride in knowing that we are pioneers in this hobby. So far, in terms of timeline, customizing figures is in the beginning stages and there's still plenty more projects to tackle. As long as toy companies make figures that spark our imagination even further or continue to cutback on expenses that produce inferior products, customizers will gladly sink their teeth into it!
