Ya know, I missed this custom until just now and it is really quite an excellent base choice for him - I love it.
The build on that Hulk - and the detail, are just perfect and it also speaks volumes to the entire notion of scale and how out of hand its gotten. I'd much prefer something that is big but still conservatively sized enough - like this here, so as not to keep waving this flag of making everything HUGE just for the sake of filling packages and reusing C&C bases as Mattel constantly does. Between them and Hasbro both, they have lost sight of scale in favor of reusability and shock value and this serves as a powerful reminder of what a good piece can be for the collection when the sizing is 'big enough' and well detailed, instead of being just another smoothened ambiguous repainted offering that shows little contrast or visual interest. This is what things should be - a piece of work that doesn't rely on overtism but rather concentrated effort and accuracy instead.

Perfect Doomsday! perfect size to go against Mattel Superman. I have that same Hulk figure you used, it has good muscle definition, articulation and the electronic roaring sounds. Nice idea you had and great job with the custom. Saw your past Lobos too, they're good.

Ey another VATO LOCO!!its from the old movie hulk. this one had some kind of sound cause it had speaker holes in the stomach and swinging arm action.thanks for looking!

Awesome not too huge Doomsday. Bigger than the DCSH midget but not as huge as some I've seen. The tattered Superman cape really sells the figure. Great job.

Thanks I don't think Doomsday is a giant so I think this looks ok. the cape came from a pirate of the caribbean action figure.
