I took the kids to a local toy show and found the parts I was missing in a bargain bin. Now he looks much closer to what I originally wanted. Going to make alternate hands for webshooting, add swivel biceps, even out the paint and then should be good to go.

I was meaning to take a break but found so much good stuff that I will just try to pace myself out.

Recipe:

ML Ben Reilly Scarlet Spider upper legs
Everything else: Various Toybiz Spider-men

Thanks for looking.

That head is a ringer for the early McFarlane Amazing Spider-man, before he took on his stand alone Spider-man series. The way he first drew Spidey, the head was more almond shaped, without the elongated skull/jaw, and protruding nose. This reminds me of the cover of ASM #301. Would you mind telling what figure the head came from?

Hi. It's from a Shoot and trap Spidey w the lizard base. I used to see them all the time on auction sites but not a lot out there any more. I think there's only one on the 'bay currently.

Thanks for the info. I found a few on Amazon, but they want about $60 for them, incl. shpg. I ain't payin' that for no head...unless it's from a disease-free female.

I love this Spider-man more than any other Spider-man figure I've ever seen. I spread this link around and everyone thinks it looks great. Would you happen to know which parts you used for this? Especially the head sculpt.

Thanks! The arms came from a wall crawling spiderman with a wheel on his chest. The head sculpt and lower legs are from a lizard trapping spidey. The upper legs from ml Ben Reilly scarlet spider.
