This Vile Volition is a D-list villain that first appeared in the 99 cent book Untold tales of Spider-Man made a slight comeback during Marvel’s Dark Reign storyline as part of Norman Osborn’s black ops Thunderbolts unit. He has been drawn as a big bulky man whose bulk decreased as Dark Reign continued. Southern red neck, Cleavon Twain worked for the Green Goblin as a distraction for a young Spider-man before his first encounter with the Goblin, Headsman’s tech was based on early prototype Goblin weaponry and was eventually caught and took the fall for the Green Goblin thus sent to jail. He was released from jail by Osborn to continue the guise of the Headsman for a black ops Thunderbolts unit. The Headsman wields an energy-powered ax that is powered from the generator on his back that can slice through most substances; he flies a one-man vertical-thrust platform. His comeback didn’t work out well for him in the end and so this character will most likely never be made into a actual action figure, so here he is as a custom for your consideration.
