Absorbing Man (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:36956
Name:Absorbing Man
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:loosecollector
Date Added:February 20, 2012
Base Figure:SOTA SFs
Height:7.50 inches
This is our last figure for the day. Crusher Creel... The Absorbing Man! Made from a Sagat upper on a THawk lower. Sculpted the legs, crotch, "hammered-metal-plates-effect" onto his right half and a few other small details (like the right eye). He was then given his signature ball-n-chain to complete the look. He's about 1.5 inch taller than the ML Creel and more than twice as heavy :). We regret not being able to shoot him against MS Hulk and now he's gone stateside :(. Hope you enjoy the few pics we have. God bless you all.

This custom is just incredible! I love how much more intimidating and sinister y0our figure is than the ML one, and the hammered metal effect on the body is so, so cool! I also Love the textured metallic look on the ball!!! SO GREAT!

I'm a bit late and I hope you read this, I'm very curious to know what method you use to ¨heat and pop¨ your SOTA Streetfighter figures, I ask because I've accidentally destroyed mine.

Just boil water. Put in a jar. Soak figs in it for 5 minutes. When they get flexible, you just pop out and swap. Should be very easy. Hope this helps

Thank you brother .
Yes on the head. It was a headless fodder body, so I popped in the X3 head so I can use him for the photo

Pro-shop detail as usual, epic work! The Hasbro one is just "designed" for 3.75" scale . What'd you do the ball and chain from?
avatar
loosecollector -
Monday, February 20, 2012
Thank you brother . Ball is a small plastic ball and the chain is a regular thin chain from the hardware. We just slapped 'em together and the paintjob did the rest.
