Thank you both. I cut off the roundball-things on the hips and drove a nail straight through both legs and the pelvis. Then I painted the figure flat black and drybrushed multiple layers of silver. I then gave it a brown/red wash to make it look rusted. I've seen a lot of people paint the wires and such, which would've added even more detail.

A vast improvement over over the original. I like his stance better this way, paints look good too. Nice work.
