This contest seems just the pick-me-up I needed. Been feeling a little burnt out on the whole SF endeavor. To my dismay I dropped my Sota Zangief, and anyone who has owned one of the larger Sota figures knows how heavy they are and how likely a break can be. Anyway, he broke clear in half at the torso...sigh. So, had a thought and decided such a beautiful figure should not go to waste. Added WWE legs with apoxy on thighs for added muscle. Gave the torso ML Venom rubber head I had left over from my Pyron custom with apoxy sculpted powerful neck. Popped out Zangief chest hair and filled in hole with apoxy. Used exacto knife to cut shackles on wrists, and added apoxy to smooth them out. Full repaint with Tanker Black first, then a couple coats of Blue (acrylic). Finally, drew spider emblem with very thin brush and white paint. Personally, I don't care too much for the ML venom...I think he's too "vainy". Last Picture is a group shot of my 3 favorite teams: 1) Wolverine, Venom, and Spiral. 2) Ryu, Juggernaut, and Marrow. 3) And Felicia, Spidey, and Silver Samurai. Hope you like.
