Since we never got a figure of the incomparable and sexy Stacy Haiduk as Lana Lang in the Superboy/Adventures of Superboy TV Series, I set about creating us one.

First, I removed the head and arms from a Season 5 Willow body, and repainted the sweater, T-shirt, and shoes to more closely match the outfit worn by Ms. Haiduk in the Season 4 Superboy episode "The Basement". Next, I used my Dremel to excavate out a new hole in the Seaquest DSV Hitchcock head, remove the small portion of neck from it so that the head and the Willow figure's neck could fit together nicely and neatly, and grind down the sides, top and back to more match the Willow head once the hair had been removed. Afterwards, I sanded down the neck and peg so that it could accommodate the new head and so that her neck was not out of proportion (remember, the Seaquest figure's head was slightly smaller in scale to the Willow, and you need to mask this once both pieces are attached), which left me with a lower neck and a cyllindrical post. I then jammed a VERY small glob of Milliput into the newly excavated head cavity and then pushed the cyllindrical neck post in it to create a new peg hole. Once the Milliput had dried, I repainted the hair to more closely match TV Lana's (this was done with two base coats of Pumpkin Orange and one outer coat of Insignia Red), and once the paint was dry, I glued the head into place inside the hair and set it aside. Next, I repainted the sleeves, and once the paint was dry, I used the boil and pop method to reattach the arms to the body. Lastly, I glued the reconstructed head into place atop the neck, and TA-DA...Lana Lang from the TV Series Superboy/Adventures of Superboy!!!!

Please let me know what you guys think of her, and as always, comments are appreciated.

Thanks pointfurious. I'm glad you liked it as well. It was well worth the effort, as the results demonstrate, and while it may be slightly obscure, it does go well with the Superboy TV Series Superboy figure I did a while back.
