Custom #:34746
Name:Hugh Jackman as Wolverine/Logan
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Select
Creator:TheGr8One
Date Added:December 3, 2011
Base Figure:Neca Duke Nukem, Neca T-800
Height:7.00 inches
What's up everyone? After seeing Fitzjedi's Logan, I knew I had to make something like that. Man, that Duke base is simply incredible. So far, I made Dutch, T-800 & I have seen others made Blade, Punisher etc with it. Anyway back to this, the recipe is identical to my T-800. I used lower half of Duke with upper half of T-800. Then modded the hands & the head from marvel select wolverine to match with the terminator parts. It retains all of its articulations without any problem. Only thing that bugged me was the neck peg is too low & make it seem like he barely has any neck. As for the look, not really based on one movie. The jacket concept came from the wolverine movie & the white shirt concept came from X2. I thought about painting the pants but I have never painted jeans before so I decided not to. If anyone got any advice on how to paint jeans, please feel free to share. I really like how this came out & hope you guys feel the same. I know he's a bit buff but after all, he is Hugh Buffman/Jackman & I read somewhere he was beefing up even more for the new movie & he got tips from The Great One himself "The Rock" lol. Feedbacks are always welcome!

hey! that is one cool figure mate!! I am doing one using the same base and head. Though the MS logan is a little hard to find at a reasonable price. Mine will be in his white wife beater and jeans. Regarding painting jeans: if you take my humble advice, you can check in my work the jeans I painted for my logan and my civilian scott Summers, to decide if you take my advice or not. I use Vallejo deep sky blue, but you can use any blue you choose. first step: cover the pants in the blue you choose. Second: and most important; give it a wash in black or darker blue. This step is crucial. Third: Leave the wash dry completely, then drybrush in the original blue you used. Fourth: A sligth, very, very slight white dry brush, ONLY in certain areas of the pants. And there you have it, nice blue jeans with denim effect.

I´ll wait anxiously for that new logan custom you are plannin with the bulletsorm head!!

Keep up the good work!!

Hey dude, if your painting jeans, a good effect is painting them the blue you want to and then give them a light white drybrush. It also works with grey or black but it looks better with a light grey drybrush.

Thanks for sharing. Any suggestion on which type of blue will fit Logan? I usually use testors model masters paint.

I think his head looks a little small, but it's still overall cool. And those bullet holes in the jacket are awesome for Wolverine.

Thanks Shinigami! I definitely agree about the head size, unfortunately that was the only one I have for now besides the bullet storm figure & I'm making another Logan with it.
