Soranik Natu (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Born on the same planet as the notorious Sinestro, Natu accepted her post as a Green Lantern against all odds. Viewed as a traitor by her own people, she has recently been teamed up with the Princess Iolande of Betrassus and while the two like to bicker, they make an excellent team. I sculpted the ring and collar out of the very last of my greenstuff. I wanted to keep the plunging neckline rather conservative. As is always the case with my lanterns I had to paint the logo on by hand (shrugs) it'll do for now. Hope you like her! Please wait... |

'Monk, Gimp has all the same basic features as PS, maybe not all the bells and whistles, but unless you're a pro at this stuff you usually don't need those anyway.
Happy digibashing!
Really nice work on both figs BTW. :-)
oh and thanks for the kind words my friend!
-Open the background file (the ladies)
-Open the file you want to cut stuff out from (Nightmare pic)
-Select the area on the (Nightmare) pic you want to cut out, copy it, and paste it onto the background pic.
-Place the copied (Nightmare) layer over the background pic and erase the areas on the Nightmare pic that should be covered by stuff in the background pic (erase the areas overlapping on the ladies).
There's probably an easier way, I don't know it :P
and here's a pic for Doc, with the two girls making nice:
sort of...
LOL
Nice work though, all your GL's look smooth, especially the rings...
The greens I use are ummm, well shoot they aren't in front of me, I'll find out and post it here. I get them at Michaels and they cost me about $1.27 . I bought every shade of Green the girl would throw on top of my armload and made her mark them with sharpies so I could tell the difference when I got home. lol!
What kind of green is that!
