Soranik Natu (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:3472
Name:Soranik Natu
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:greymonk
Date Added:August 2, 2007
Base Figure:Wasp (Black & Yellow)
Height:6.20 inches
Born on the same planet as the notorious Sinestro, Natu accepted her post as a Green Lantern against all odds. Viewed as a traitor by her own people, she has recently been teamed up with the Princess Iolande of Betrassus and while the two like to bicker, they make an excellent team.

I sculpted the ring and collar out of the very last of my greenstuff. I wanted to keep the plunging neckline rather conservative. As is always the case with my lanterns I had to paint the logo on by hand (shrugs) it'll do for now. Hope you like her!

Works the same way in Gimp.
'Monk, Gimp has all the same basic features as PS, maybe not all the bells and whistles, but unless you're a pro at this stuff you usually don't need those anyway.
Happy digibashing!
Really nice work on both figs BTW. :-)

Well public confession counts as an act of contrition so "Repaint...and thin NO more!" (Still loving that Punstarr!)
oh and thanks for the kind words my friend!

wow I love this well both of them actually. but Soranik Natu is extremely well done I love this fig The ferret bows "ol friend you have humbled me with your skill, if you could point me to the nearest confessional" slinks in forgets to shut the door "Forgive me Monk for I have sinned I have coveted the fig and talent of my friend What ever shall I do?" looks around and realizes everyone heard him shrugs and says "and just made admitted it to the realm." under his breath "dang it all"

good lord! that sounds harder than making a custom! maybe I'll stick to the thinks I can do halfway decent...heh. or maybe just make voice bubbles for my pics...someday I want to do some tutorials so that would be a good step toward the process.

Well, I don't know how gimp works, but for PS...
-Open the background file (the ladies)
-Open the file you want to cut stuff out from (Nightmare pic)
-Select the area on the (Nightmare) pic you want to cut out, copy it, and paste it onto the background pic.
-Place the copied (Nightmare) layer over the background pic and erase the areas on the Nightmare pic that should be covered by stuff in the background pic (erase the areas overlapping on the ladies).
There's probably an easier way, I don't know it :P

"Well here you have your light green, your semi light green, your almost normal green, your normal green, your almost dark green..."
LOL
Nice work though, all your GL's look smooth, especially the rings...

Was it Folk Art? I got a bunch of FA metallics and they all work flawlessly, (check-out the crazy shine on the GL in my WIP thread)

thank you doc for noticing that! I was gonna put the Kilowog in there (like he was making them do it) but was worried the figure would block the light. It was TOTALLY intentional, especially if you know anything about those two.
The greens I use are ummm, well shoot they aren't in front of me, I'll find out and post it here. I get them at Michaels and they cost me about $1.27 . I bought every shade of Green the girl would throw on top of my armload and made her mark them with sharpies so I could tell the difference when I got home. lol!

I don't know if it was intentional, but thats hilarious how they're shaking hands and not looking at each other
What kind of green is that!
