BraveStarr was the last animated television series produced by Filmation (other notable Filmation properties include He Man And The Masters Of The Universe, She Ra: Princess Of Power, Shazam, and Ghostbusters and, in my opinion, it was the greatest cartoon they ever made. In one notable episode entitled, "The Price," a boy becomes addicted to a hallucinogenic drug similar to LSD called "Spin," and actually overdoses on it and dies at the end of the episode, which was a pretty shocking turn of events for an afternoon cartoon in the dark ages of 1987! Two episodes, set on Earth instead of the planet of New Texas where most of the story takes place, had a distinctly Victorian flair and a steampunk aesthetic, before there even really was such a term. This franchise was a perfect blend of Horror, Sci Fi, and Western elements. To this day I am confused as to why it never really caught on...the only thing I can think of was maybe the timing was weird. It was kind of "between generations," if you will. I don't really know how else to put it. But it's a shame, as this is an under-rated series and concept imo.
Anyway, the head is from Nunchuck, the ponytail is from Headman, the torso is from Armored Cobra Commander, the arms, pistol, and upper left leg are from Wild Bill, the lower legs are from Dojo (toes dremeled down to resemble cowboy boots), not sure about the upper left leg, the waist is from Raptor, and the hat is from RAH Wild Bill. I wanted to give him a "grittier" look ala Sergio Leone, so I gave the figure a dark gray wash and then dry-brushed highlights over the top.
Hope you like him and thanks for checking it out!

Please wait...
BTW, love your rendition, even though I´m not a fan of that scale, you made a very nice job, as usual..
