Stalactite is an child he has but a mere 2,000,000 years of age. He was chosen by the Guardians for 3 reasons. First he is indestructible Nothing not even the power rings of OA and Qward can hurt him. Second he is the perfect holding cell for the day they actually imprison anyone for once inside they live forever and can only be removed by Stalactite himself. and thirdly he has no needs he feeds on astroids and when he is grown he will feed on planets. Prophesies say he will be killed by someone named Capt. Kirk on a vessel called Enterprise.
