Okay, so this one doesn't have the extensive sculpting as my other recent customs, but it still wasn't that easy to pull off! SOTA Guile as a base for the new "Lumberjack-looking Superman" from Action Comics...the one with the boots and blue jeans. I considered sculpting the cuffed pants, but the Guile boots were just too sweet to cover up...plus it threw off the articulation. The T-shirt is some blue spandex I bought to use for a 12" Chris Reeve figure I plan to do. I wanted to give him both heads because in the new comics, he often has the red pissed off eyes and the Guile screaming expression fit that well! Both heads got new haircuts and the pants and boots got a heavy drybrush paint treatment to make it more comic-like. Finally, the cape is just cloth. Hope you guys like this one! Thanks for looking!

Good job - he looks massive! I've got my fingers crossed that somebody around here is going to do a George Reeves Superman from the old tv show someday!

Wow this is really cool! For some strange reason I didn't expect anyone to make a custom of this guy or at least one this good. Guile probably would have not even crossed anyones mind to use as a base for a Superman custom, but yet it works so well. I like the new look they gave young Kent in the new Action Comics and you've captured it quite well but with a little twist. Great work & love the wash you've done on the pants!

what's this supposed to be the new working man Superman? It really fits with todays huge unemployment numbers and even Superman not being able to afford a good costume anymore. You really captured this perfectly
