Banshee was hands down one of the coolest parts in X-Men: First Class, particularly the scenes of him flying, so I really wanted to make him for my collection. I originally had not planned on using the ML Banshee base as I was not huge fan of it, but when I found the figure on sale at my local comic shop I caved. I started by drilling new holes in his back and hips so that the wings would sit at the right point on his harness, as opposed to connecting to the armpits and calves like the figure originally had. I sculpted all of the costume details over the muscles of the figure, including his straps and buckles, as well as a little bit of sculpting on his hair. After that, I painted it (which was not made any easier by all of the line work that needed to be done) and sealed it. Overall I'm quite happy with the end result. There are still things I might end up tweaking but for now I'm glad to have it finished, it was a lot of detail work but it looks great next to Magneto. I've already started Azazel so hopefully he will come together a bit quicker than Banshee did. Comments and criticisms are always appreciated. ![]() |

Fitz - I'm definitely going to try and finish everyone, I may even take a page out of your book and use the X2 Wolverine as a base.
