I want my movie Avengers to Assemble, and these were a bit of work.

For Cap I took the MS Cap and heat and popped the arms off. Then I took a pair of jakks deluxe aggression shoulders and biceps, dremilled the shoulder peg to mock the ms caps peg size. I also reshaped the arms to resemble the material he's wearing with different dremil tools and sanded them clean. I repainted the arms white, and any white on the figure, and then aged it with different layers of dirt colours
I then took the shoulder pads and cut them off the original arms, and dremilled them to fit over the new arms. I made the straps for them and then freely fit them over the arms before boiling the torso to pop the new arms in. The shoulder pads now fit snug, and move in unison, without hindering movement.

I also added the strap for the shield, and repainted the face. mine looked like cap was wearing too much blush.

Thanks for the views!

I was not dissing your work and I did not want to be disrespectful, Pulp. I was talking about Hasbro's mask design. It should look like it did in the movie. That's all. Your work, however, is excellent.

By the way...I will do it. Only that I prefer to work on 1:18 scale figures and those are becoming scarce around here. I already have digital pics on how it should look. I'd be glad to e-mail them to you.

Definitely hit me up with a pm when you got it on the go. Don't worry I didn't take it as a diss, I really was more intrigued to see what you would would have done.
None the less thanks, and I really need to get pics of the changes I made on this guy. I know it's not perfect, but I'm pretty happy looking at it on my shelf.

I'm not talking about the chin strap but the eye mask. This one drops looow under the cheekbones while the one in the movie was briefer. also, the eye holes were bigger.

You're going to quibble over those issues when something more glaringly obvious like the chinstrap is missing? Tell you what, you get one of these figures, fix the where the mask goes over the cheek bones, and widen the eye holes, post it and I'll take notes. I'd love to see you do it, and I'm not just saying that. I'd like to see how you would go about it. I like how he looks now I got the strap on his chin. It might not be perfect, but I like how it looks. I'll post it soon, and let me know what you think.
Thanks!

Cosmic Fantasy Customs, suprasizeme, aussiedcfan , and Liko thanks for dropping by and sharing your sentiments!
Liko- the only difference between the movie and select mask is the chinstrap. The movie's goes right over the chin. I might get around to this. Thanks.

impressive. I would've like you to try and fix Cap's mask since this sculpt is based on an unused design. Lookk at the movie pictures and you'll see the difference.
