Rufus (Street Fighter) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:33720
Name:Rufus
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Street Fighter
Creator:Legiondary Customs
Date Added:October 18, 2011
Base Figure:Marvel Legends Face Off Kingpin
Height:7.00 inches
A lot of Apoxy! Around the gut, cheeks, hair, mustache, gloves, shoulders, sides, knees, and pins along front of body. Sculpted padding. Used rings from a keychain to make pins in front body. And lastly, believe it or not 3 thin rubberbands braided worked out great for braid...(mental note: braids don't always have to come from Sota Cammy).

Nice work. Thought about doing him but couldn't find a good base until now. Maybe I'll tackle this one.

Congrats on being the first one to tackle this character, man... great job on the head sculpt!!!too bad we can't see his arm and his lower parts just from those photos, would've love to see some full body shots of this masterpiece, but I gotta ask, how many articulation did you lose sculpting his belly part like that?looking forward to see more sf characters from you, boss!!!

Well, the only articulation Kingpin had on the body was twisting of the waist and head...I figured a fat guy like this....he don't to twist, lol. Arms and legs still g2g. Unfortunately accidentally broke head off trying to see how it was connected...bummer.

Sorry about the pictures thing, but I can only post 3 and I wanna' have a group photo op of ALL SF characters! SF1, SF2, SF3, SF EX, and SF4! Yep...that's the plan. Decided on it just under 2 weeks ago and already completed Dee Jay, Yun, Juri, Rufus, and have Hakan waiting on paintjob and Rose (waiting on body sculpts, lol) Point is...moving at decent pace. And if all keeps going steady (no missions or long ones anyway) should finish line in...oh, I say...3-4 months...give or take. I will not fail you, sir!

Yo dude I was thinking Blob would be a perfect base for Rufus as well after I saw yours. Then again according to The world worrior Encyclopedia ( pushes glasses back into place) Sagat is about 7ft 5, T.Hawk is 7ft 6.5in , M.bison 5ft 11.75in and Rufus clocks in at about 6ft 4in so he should pretty much be in scale with everyone. Had to nerd out on you there big Street Fighter fan. I only have a few of SOTAs caught on kinda late.

I understand space is limited on my end as well so Iam trying to find a use for some old Figures I despise like my ML Sasquatch. But how tall does he stand to say one of NECAs SFIV figures or if you have SOTAs he should be in scale right?

Actually, I DO have Sotas. I have the whole line (except for Gouken...refuse to pay that much for him...figured I'd make my own, so waiting on Akuma for base). Funny, I got into custimizing to complete X-men collection...then moved on to Darkstalkers...now I MUST complete SF line. He is proportional to smaller guys like Ryu or Fei Long, but still smaller than Sagat, T. hawk, or even Bison. It works but I can't help but feeling he should be bigger. Maybe a ML Blob BAF if one had enough of a you budget, lol.

ML Sasquatch...I once had an idea of combining ML Sasquatch and Sota Dog Soldiers Werewolf to see if I could get a decent Talbane...just food for thought.

Aha, Rufus! To be honest Iam not to particularly fond of this guy I think it has something to do with the way his belly jiggles when in battle, but anywho congrats on being the first to tackle this guy you got his looks dead on. Even though I don't like Duf er Rufus I would totally pick ?up a figure of this guy if NECA finished their SFIV line. Good work though oh and what was the base figure used here?

Thanks.
Kingpin. I would have liked him to be chunkier or a bigger base but...cleaning out the figures I don't have a use for.
