Jim Lee Cyclops (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Hey realmers and fellow action figure obsessed peeps, tonight i finally finished my labor of love(my tied-for-first favorite x man) cyclops! although i do like the jim lee design,my favorite costume is his old school 80s costume, but i had this wrestler guy who had a pretty unique upper body and thought it would make a cool ripped cyke from the 90s. the bottom half of the wrestler was horrid though, his hip ball joints were bigger than his head so i had to find a different bottom, and i did somethin that i have never done and combined a dcuc figure with a ml style figure. the bottom half is the specter, with modded feets so he doesnt have the peter pan shoe thing.the wrists and hands are from bullseye, and head from some wrestler as well.I sculpted the costume details and hair, and muscle/veins. for the visor i cut off the sentinal series cyclops visor and dremelled down the visor and shaped it to fit, making it a bit thinner so it wasnt quite so bulky.I always thought of him being a bit taller and all my other cyclops figures are kinda lacking height(not complainin,i think the toy companies did a good job givin us some good slim figures)and lots of dry brushing!including four shades of blue, and three of yellow. Sealed with testors dullcote, then added high gloss to his visor, lips and "x' symbols. well i hope you guys like it and thanks for lookin! GLORY TO GOD ABOVE! TEAM CYCLOPS! (man i wish that didnt sound so twilighty,i had to throw it in for the schism thing though,i apologize Please wait... |
