I love alternate realities and the first one I ever came across in my life was the Crime Syndicate of Amerika I especially loved how each character was a mirror of the regular universe. However Power Ring's ring was not powered by will but a Jinn of sorts. Now as John,Guy, and eventually Kyle came into the standard universe I always wondered how did they come into the CSA Universe we have seen that John and Kyle both have existed. But no explanation as to how as their is supposedly only one ring. So I figured I would write a way and I have a huge story written but this is not the forum on which to share it. But Suffice it to say that Maltus in this universe produced multiple races the greatest here became the Qwardians who moved beyond the other races of Maltus and began life on Qward. Much like the Guardians did and began living on Oa. However a small group of an off shoot race disagreed with this decision and evolved into Jinn like creature's who also left Maltus to overtake the universe much like the Controllers. They lived in space for millennia before making rings in which to control key beings of the universe. these rings they placed their consciousness and set these rings off to find host several reached earth. The first attached to Joseph Heralds the Hal Jordan of the CSA the second attached to Stewart Johnson, the 3rd to Guard Guyner and lastly the 4th to Ryan Karlton.

And here for your pleasure the first glimpse of Guard Guyner of the Power Rings.

I used a spare Guy Gardner and Omac Head. and repainted it. (I debated placing spikes in the shoulder pads of the Jacket but I could never make up my mind so I might do it later who knows.)

Sorry I have not post much lately but I have been busy starting a new job and my anniversary and birthday and you name it so I haven't had alot of time to even comment much as of late but I thought I would at least add something

Amazing custom Bob. Love it, as always. I also love anything to do with the Crime Syndicate. Wait until you see my take on an Earth-3 pre-Crime Syndicate Ultraboy (a counterpart of sorts to Superboy). As far as your fig, I would have gone with the spikes, or even armored shoulder pads with spikes...it would have given it that EVIL feel. Kudos on the work.

I am still debating the spikes even now! The thing is when Guard recived the ring would it have initially had the spikes or would the have come later as I see him as hating humanity so much as to be going after super aliens like the CSA universe Lobo, Mongul, Atrocious and KanjarRo. And adding spikes as he proves him self the universe bad ass that he is.

And yes I want to see you Ultraboy and Ultragirl and if you do it the krypto, figs. I might even have to ferret recipes or commi$$ion a set.

If you commi$$ion a set, it's gonna cost ya as a Krypto these days is EXTREMELY hard to come by...CHEAP. For right now, I'm just going to be doing an Ultraboy and MAYBE a Krypto (thanks A LOT for putting THAT in my head...LOL), but maybe an Ultragirl might be down the road someday.

I would go with the spikes from the get-go. He looks like a typical 1980's punk rocker/street gang member, and as I recall from my childhood (been a while and my memory is really foggy LOL), spikes were a common accessory on those types of outfits.

Like I said we will see on it first things first you have to make yours.

As for the spikes yes they were and are still common in those who liked that style in the 80's, having several friends who are those people. LOL

I am actually writing a short story about the Power Rings, (strictly for fun. This is one of those details I am debating as he is the anti-Guy Gardner and Guy Gardner started out a bus driver and kept growing into something bigger and bigger until he received the ring, and not happy with that challenged Batman, Hal and everyone he saw as not good enough to lead. He also has a bit of a Napoleon complex. So Guard Guyner has to be a small time thug who kept growing and growing to with a Masochistic megalomania problem trying to destroy earth and everyone on it including the CSA. He has to hate Earth, as much as Guy loves it. That's a tall order. I am thinking I am going to keep this one as is and make a second one which will be the modern Guard Guyner and he will have spikes and be a thousand times more of a bada$$ of his younger self.

TY sir that is the quick version the long one is way cooler and makes sense of all the characters who are missing in the CSA Universe. It even goes into the different color rings which is interesting to say the least.
