Lantern Instructor Kilowog, one of the biggest and baddest Green Lanterns around. (and a personal favorite of any die hard GL fan!) This hulking Drill Seargeant could only be captured with a large well formed figure. I was originally going to enter this in the contest but someone already entered a Kilowog and I have entered 3 lantern customs already so....... So, being as I have a bit of a reputation for making something out of a Planet Hulk, and because a dear friend of mine asked me to do this figure, I am pleased to present my rendition of the Kilowog as seen in Green Lantern Corps #10. I sculpted the head from scratch although I used the Maestro head to get the general outline, and sculpted over that with mountains of apoxie sculpt. I sculpted the ring from the precious last of my citidel green stuff. I was going to say I have no regrets although I realize I forget to make him with just 4 fingers on each hand. See this is what happens when you get excited and rush the figure! This is really the first figure I tried to "pose" when taking pictures and while the poses may seem very basic, give me time I'm learning - baby steps here right? At any rate, I hope you like him! Please wait... |

As for posing the pics, I was like some stiff guy trying to dance without any beer in him. It's gonna take me time to realize how the figures can be posed and what sort of poses to put them in. LOL it's really kind of embarrassing to have to confess that but maybe I'm not alone on that note.
