It's been awhile since I posted. I've been pretty busy, but still getting to my customs whenever I can. I have a few finished, waiting for photos and the photoshop treatment. I just got to get down to it and get the work done!
I have two posts today, the first is a Marvel Select Ultimate Grey Hulk.
I took one of the Select RULKs, and reworked the head changing the hair, forehead. and chin line. I also made an alternate grey Hulk head using the original ultimate grey hulk. Again I altered the hair as I hated it, then I reworked the chin, upper lip, and above the mouth and under the nose.
Then it was all paints. Lots of layers on the skin to get some tones, and same for the jeans, a dark base tone, dry brushed up with lighter denim blues, then a light and quick dry brushing of white over, and a healthy dose along the tears to get that frayed look.

he looks...ULTIMATELY INCREDIBLE! I've still yet to make a grey Hulk. I grew up with the green one and never did care for the grey one, although he was the first. To beat it all, it's still hard for me to imagine him grey even after all these years and the grey Hulk storylines and everything. But, he was a sadistic fighter and a force to be reckoned with, nonetheless. Your custom is a beaut! It has the best of both MS Hulks plus KILLER PAINT!

Thanks everybody!
I got this red hulk on a great deal, and I really wanted to re-sculpt it's head. I had also cracked open an older select ultimate hulk. I had intended on using it's hands and feet for my DCU Hulk, but I didn't like how they looked. I thought it would be cool to redo the first select ultimate hulk as it had almost no articulation, and I really hated the paint on mine. Plus I thought if I was doing an Ultimate Grey Hulk, why not try to use it?
Thanks again people. I like having him up with some of my ultimates customs, and he makes me want to do more from the series!

Your Hulks rule!!! And this no exception. First off I love the way you reworked the heads to make them uniquely your own and on top of that you have two to switch to change his mood drastically. And the paint job is as always....Exceptional!!!!
