This is a basic custom accessory for a good basic Venom figure. I was inspired with the idea for a custom sculpted floor tentacle when I played Marvel VS. Capcom, The tentacle is one of Venom's moves. I used a regular figure stand base, then added Aves Apoxy sculpt to it, holding the tentacle in form with aluminum foil. I would not recommend this method in the future, it was super hard to get the delicate, skinny sculpt to keep from wilting, one of my complaints about aves sculpt. Next time I would use a base wire to sculpt on. When I did get it dry, I painted it with Model Master Acryl gloss black and added highlights of academic level dark blue acrylic paint to match Venom's suit. I sealed it with overcoat spray. I was hoping that it would be pliable, but it is quite brittle, however it holds 3.75" scale Spider-Man up very nicely!
